All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings as the Arquimedes
series Volume XX with ISSN.
The pdf-files provided by the authors must be prepared in accordance to the requirements given in the
instructions. Please check your pdf-file carefully. Papers that do not follow the instructions will not be included in the proceedings
The short courses will be published as chapters in an edited book with ISBN.
There is also a Special Issue of the indexed journal MPE - Mathematical
Problems in Engineering (http://www.hindawi.com/journals/mpe/) dedicated
to the publication of selected papers presented at DINCON. The interested
authors should submit an electronic copy of their manuscripts through the
journal Manuscript Tracking System according to the following instructions
and timetable.
About this Journal
Mathematical Problems in Engineering publishes results of rigorous engineering research carried out using mathematical tools. Contributions containing formulations or results related to applications are also encouraged. The primary aim of Mathematical Problems in Engineering is rapid publication and dissemination of important mathematical work which has relevance to engineering. All areas of engineering are within the scope of the journal. In particular, aerospace engineering, bioengineering, chemical engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering and manufacturing systems, and mechanical engineering are of interest. Mathematical work of interest includes, but is not limited to, ordinary and partial differential equations, stochastic processes, calculus of variations, and nonlinear analysis.
The most recent Impact Factor for Mathematical Problems in Engineering is 0.545 according to 2008 Journal Citation Reports released by Thomson Scientific (ISI) in 2009
Special Issue:
Nonlinear Systems: Asymptotic Methods, Stability, Chaos, Control, and Optimization
Call for Papers
The area of nonlinear systems and control has expanded dramatically in the past fifty years. The striking developments can be credited to the increasing computing capability of the recent years which made it a lot easier to model and study real-world complex problems. On the other hand, to approach complex problems properly, it is convenient to put together a team of researchers with a wide range of backgrounds and common interests. This is exactly what the Brazilian Conference on Dynamics, Control, and Applications intends to do. Taking the advantage of this opportunity, this special issue proposes to put together a set of high-quality papers from the works presented in the conference, selected thorough a rigorous reviewing process by independent specialists. Contributions dealing with theoretical and/or numerical aspects of one or more of the following themes: asymptotic methods in nonlinear dynamics, stability of dynamical systems, control and optimization, nonlinear dynamics, chaos and synchronization, control and intelligent systems applications, and aeronautical systems: dynamics and control are welcome.
Before submission authors should carefully read over the journal's Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/mpe/guidelines.html. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Manuscript Tracking System at http://mts.hindawi.com/ according to the following timetable:
Manuscript Due: August 1, 2010
