2007 scholarships and special rates
Scholarships
The
Organizing Committee will grant a total of five (5) full-access
fee-plus-hotel-and-meal scholarships to prospective international
participants from emerging economy countries (EEC) and economically challenged countries (ECC). A special committee will be
appointed to select candidates. The
scholarship does not include international transportation costs (i.e., air
ticket).
Requirements:

Individual
must be permanent resident in a EEC or ECC country (proof by passport
and air ticket)

Individual
must submit an abstract to ISAPA-Brazil, and be approved by the
scientific committee

Individual
must present two recommendation letters from his/her country or
international APA authorities along
with a brief resume
Scholarship
for an IFAPA students member
One
IFAPA student member from countries other than EEC ECC, appointed by the ISAPA Organizing
Committee and endorsed by IFAPA, will receive waived registration for the ISAPA-Brazil 2007.
Scholarship
for ISAPA-2009
One
ISAPA-2009 representative, appointed by the ISAPA 2009 Organizing
Committee and endorsed by IFAPA, will receive waived registration fee,
lodging and meals for the duration of ISAPA-Brazil 2007. The scholarship
does not include international transportation costs.
Special
rates
Participants from EEC and ECC countries will receive a 50% discount of
international rates according to the registration schedule. This program
does not apply to Brazilians.
Participants must prove residency by presenting passport and
transportation ticket at the secretary’s counter upon arrival. Failure
to satisfy this requirement will require payment of the full registration
fee.
Invited
guests
ISAPA-Brazil 2007 will pay international transportation for invited guests.
This does not apply to members of the IFAPA Board of Directors, unless
they are guest speakers.
